Biography
Patti Knauer DeWitt is presently the Requard Community Nurse Educator of The Copper Ridge Institute on the Eastern Shore for Alzheimer’s disease and Dementia Care. Patti has been at William Hill Manor for the past seven years and joined the faculty of The Copper Ridge Institute in 2007. Prior to joining the team at William Hill Manor, Patti’s work was in oncology and service in the United States Air Force. In addition to training all William Hill staff in best practices of Alzheimer care, Patti is involved with several programs in the Shore community to help patients and their caregivers, whether at home or in care facilities receive care that is focused on best available treatment and patient dignity.
