- Dementia Care Certification Course – A comprehensive training for front-line nursing staff.
- Dementia Care Rounds – Twice a month, Copper Ridge nursing staff present cases that pose special care-giving challenges to neurobehavioral experts on the Institute faculty. These sessions emphasize the systematic approach to clinical problem-solving that is a major component of the Copper Ridge Model of Care®.
- Journal Club – Once a month, the Institute and Copper Ridge staff review together a recently published journal article relevant to the care of dementia patients. In addition to helping staff keep up-to-date on latest developments, these sessions help refine critical thinking skills and teach research methods.
