The Copper Ridge Institute has the potential to impact not only the lives of those with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, but their families and professional caregivers as well. Our work involves developing evidence-based care methods, advancing research in age related issues, and teaching this new knowledge to health care professionals caring for persons with dementing diseases.

- Grand Rounds Series - Experts in dementia care address a variety of care practices and considerations.
- Mildred Baron Scholarship Program - Obtain certification in dementia care through a state of-the-art program taught by nationally acclaimed experts.
- Customized CE Programs - Individualized dementia care training on our campus or yours. The programs can be customized in many areas such as answering your activity needs, training in behavior management, helping you create innovative dining options, and managing end of life care
- Dementia Care Certification Course - A comprehensive training for front line nursing staff.
- Publications - The distinguished faculty of The Copper Ridge Institute have published papers across a wide spectrum of dementia related topics. Institute faculty speak at national and international conferences about the findings of these research projects and how they can translate into ‘best practices’ for dementia care.

- Educational Brochures- Put together by the staff and researchers of The Copper Ridge Institute, these brochures address some of the common struggles of caregiving and how to manage.
- Caring for a Love One with Alzheimer’s Educational DVD and Webcast- An engaging video that provides caregivers with the tools and methods to best take care of their loved one with Alzheimer’s disease.
- Alzcast.org - An educational website designed to empower its audience with information about Alzheimer’s disease and educate the caregiver on how to manage their loved ones care.
- Outpatient Assessment Clinic - An outpatient clinic at Copper Ridge that performs a thorough diagnostic work-up providing family members with detailed information about the patient’s diagnosis, prognosis, recommendations for current treatment, coordination of follow-up care in collaboration with the primary care physicians and recommendations for ongoing care in the community.
