July 21, 2009: The Copper Ridge Institute Honored With Caregiver Award by the National Alliance for Caregiving and Metlife Foundation

Representatives from leading national aging organizations and agencies convened today in Minneapolis, MN to honor the 2009 winners of the National Family Caregiving Awards, sponsored by the National Alliance for Caregiving and MetLife Foundation. April 24, 2009: New Online Dementia Risk Assessment Education Module Launched with a $25,000 Grant from The Geoffrey Beene Foundation Alzheimer’s Initiative

The Copper Ridge Institute, affiliated with the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, is happy to announce the launch of a new online Dementia Risk Assessment. Currently, there are no proven tools that could be used by consumers to recognize the early stages of Alzheimer’s disease,” says Dr. Baker, Executive Director of The Copper Ridge Institute. “This effort will provide individuals and families with information to help distinguish benign forgetfulness from un-diagnosed dementia.” Read more.
